Keto Poha

Poha is an Indian delicious and nutritious meal that is perfect as a breakfast or a snack.


500g grated cauliflower

75g cup diced onion

2 stalks curry leaves

1/4 teaspoon asafoetida

2 tablespoon lemon juice

1 dry red chilli

60ml water

30g oil roasted peanuts or dry roasted peanuts

1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

salt as required

1 tablespoon coriander leaves

  1. Add olive oil, mustard seeds, asafoetida, dry red chilli and curry leaves. Cook till sizzling. Add diced onions and let them saute for 2 minutes or until pink.

  2. Add the grated cauliflower, turmeric and water and mix well. Cook the cauliflower and allow the water to boil away.

  3. Add oil roasted peanuts or dry roasted peanuts, lime juice and salt and mix well.

  4. Allow to cook to a dry consistency. Garnish with coriander and serve hot!
